Searching My Jobs vs. All Jobs
PermitManager divides jobs according to whether you only want to see requests that are assigned to you (My Jobs view) or whether you want to see all requests sitting with your organisation (All Jobs view). PermitManager automatically opens to My Jobs view when you log in, so any jobs not assigned to you won't be visible at first. To switch to All Jobs view, click the All Jobs option from the top left of the window:
Please note that if you use Quick Filters to search more specific jobs, the search results will load according to whether you are in My Jobs or All Jobs view, e.g. you would not be able to search for jobs that are assigned to coworkers (or unassigned) if you are in My Jobs view.
Searching by Job Number
If you know the specific job number you need, it can be typed into the Job Number search bar at the top left of the screen:
Hit Enter on your keyboard or press the blue search icon to load the permit request in a new window.
Using the Quick Filters
If you would like to filter the jobs list to meet certain search criteria, click Quick Filter from the top left of the screen:
The various search options will load below. Make your selection(s) and then click Apply Filters to refresh the job table to show matching results:
Note that the search results will load according to whether you are in My Jobs or All Jobs view, e.g. you would not be able to search for jobs assigned to coworkers (or unassigned) if you are in My Jobs view.
Jobs with inspections
You can search for jobs which have/have not had inspections using the Quick Filter option at the top left of the page. Check the box next to Inspection, then select the relevant option from the radio buttons below. Click Apply Filters to reload the jobs list with matching results:
Jobs on hold
You can search for jobs which have been placed on hold using the Quick Filter option at the top left of the page. Check the box next to On Hold, then click Apply Filters to reload the jobs list with matching results:
Searching by the job table
If you wish to search the whole job list by order of relevance, you can click on the table's column headings to sort the jobs according to each heading:
Jobs that are in Warranty or Closed
To include Warranty or Closed jobs on the list, tick the boxes next to Include Warranty Jobs and/or Include Inactive Jobs at the top right of the page. The jobs just will automatically refresh to include matching results:
Jobs with new messages or documents
At the top right corner of the screen (below the User and Logout options) are two icons - an "envelope" to represent messages, and a "page" to represent documents. If there are new messages or documents, a red number will appear at the top of the icon representing how many of each there are to check:
Click on either icon to bring up a dropdown list, and then click on the relevant item to be taken to that permit's Message or Prerequisites screen:
