Cancelling permits

In some circumstances a permit may be cancelled. This can only be done when a permit is in the "Provisional" or "Approved" statuses. Cancellations could be due to:

• The works being cancelled after the permit has already been issued
• The permit being revoked if the contractor doesn't abide by the permit's conditions, etc.

Click the status bar at the top of the page and click Permit Cancelled:

A reason for this status will need to be entered into a popup box. Afterwards, this reason can be viewed by hovering over the words Permit Cancellation Details:

If a permit needs to be cancelled whilst still an application (prior to approval), select the Permit Not Required status from the drop-down at any time:
